Guides Hub

Welcome to the Destroy a Vault guides hub. LoopForge Studios built a Roblox incremental simulator where you roll tank robots, park them on vaults, smelt Gold into Cash, and climb through islands with stronger targets. This hub is the map for every walkthrough on the wiki — start here if you are unsure which page to open next.

Start here if you are new

New players should open Getting Started first. That guide walks the first hour: tutorial prompts, free podium rolls, placing robots into slots, smelting Gold, buying extra slots, redeeming Codes, and a short upgrade priority so you do not dump Cash into the wrong board.

After the onboarding pass, skim Controls so you know where Settings, the codes box, upgrade boards, the Smelter, the Market, and the roll podium live on PC and mobile. Knowing the UI early saves a lot of wandering.

Core progression guides

Cash is the main lever for power. Upgrades covers all five base boards — Robot Luck, Roll Spots, Robot Damage, Robot Battery, and Vault Gold Value — plus individual robot DPS upgrades and a clear spend order. Robot Damage is priority one; Robot Battery is priority two; luck and spots come next; Vault Gold Value is a late purchase.

Currency clarity lives in Economy. Gold drops from vaults (including offline), Cash comes from the Smelter, and Gems buy Mutation Cores at the Market. That page explains the smelting loop, offline earnings, and why stronger islands matter for vault value.

Mid-game power spikes

Once Index Luck and Robot Luck are climbing, mutations become common enough to matter. Mutations explains DPS multipliers, how Gems fund Mutation Cores, when to apply a core, and why you always mutate your best active robots first.

After you unlock the second island, Robot Fusion opens. Fuse four identical robots into a stronger unit — but you cannot fuse robots that were already created by fusion. The guide covers unlock timing, 4-of-a-kind rules, and when fusion beats endless re-rolling of common tanks.

Island timing, Cash buffers, and the island-two fusion gate are covered in Islands. AFK Gold setup and the return smelt ritual live in Offline Earnings. For the live Bosses theme playbook, open Bosses.

How these guides fit together

Think of progression as a loop, not a checklist:

  1. Roll or buy robots → place them in slots → destroy vaults for Gold.
  2. Smelt Gold into Cash → buy slots, boards, and robot DPS upgrades.
  3. Raise Index Luck (every five unique robots) and Robot Luck → chase mutations.
  4. Spend Gems on Mutation Cores for your top tanks.
  5. Unlock island two → fuse duplicates → push harder vaults.

Cross-link as you play. If a guide mentions Codes, open Codes. If you need rarity rankings after you understand the loop, jump to the Tier list. Player tools and community links live under Players and the Wiki page when you need Discord or official game info.

Tips before you dive in

  • Redeem RELEASE, UPDATE, and 100K early from the Codes page so Cash and Gems accelerate the first session.
  • There are 76 robots in the Index; every five unique entries raise Index Luck, topping out around 62.5% luck with a full Index.
  • Do not starve Robot Damage for vanity luck purchases in the first hour — faster vault clears fund everything else.
  • Keep at least one empty slot plan when Cash spikes; more robots on vaults beats hoarding unspent Cash.
  • Watch one mid-article video on a guide when available, then return to the text checklist so you do not miss board locations.

Use this hub as a bookmark. Come back whenever an update adds boards, islands, or currencies, then jump into the matching deep dive below. For patch notes and drop history, check Updates after major LoopForge releases.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Destroy a Vault questions.

Which Destroy a Vault guide should I read first?

Start with Getting Started for the first-hour loop, then Controls for UI locations, then Upgrades and Economy once you have steady Cash.

Do these guides cover codes and tier rankings?

Codes live on the Codes page; rarity rankings live on the Tier list. Guides link out when those pages matter for progression.

Are mutations and fusion early-game features?

Mutations appear as luck rises and can be forced with Mutation Cores. Fusion unlocks after you buy access to the second island.

How often should I revisit this hub?

After each major update, skim the hub table and open the guides that match new boards, islands, or currency changes.
