Destroy a Vault Wiki

Destroy a Vault is a Roblox incremental simulator by LoopForge Studios (released around July 2026, 2M+ visits). You roll tank robots, park them on your base, smash vaults for Gold, smelt that Gold into Cash, and reinvest in stronger robots and base upgrades. This encyclopedia page maps every major system and points you to the live hubs on destroyvault.wiki.

Core gameplay loop

  1. Roll robots onto the podium (free rolls; purchase offers with Cash or reroll).
  2. Place tanks into army slots (buy extra slots with Cash).
  3. Destroy the vault—robots deal DPS automatically while battery allows.
  4. Collect Gold, including offline earnings when you return.
  5. Smelt Gold into Cash at the Smelter.
  6. Upgrade boards and individual robots; chase rarer rolls as luck climbs.
  7. Repeat toward tougher vaults, new islands, mutations, and fusion.

New players should start with the getting started guide and skim the Guides Hub for deeper walkthroughs.

Never sit on huge unsmelted Gold piles if Cash upgrades are available—conversion is the bridge between combat and progression. Redeem live gifts on the codes hub (RELEASE, UPDATE, 100K when active).

Robots, rarity, and the Index

About 76 robots span Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic style tiers. Rarity hints at base power, but mutations and upgrades decide real vault DPS. The Index tracks unique unlocks: every five uniques grants Index Luck, and a complete Index yields 62.5% luck. Collection therefore feeds rolling quality over time.

Deep dives:

Priority rule of thumb: high DPS + mutations beat hoarding Commons. Buy cheap new uniques for Index Luck; skip expensive duplicate Commons when Damage upgrades are waiting.

Upgrade boards

Five primary board paths shape the economy:

  1. Robot Damage — best early spend; faster clears fund everything.
  2. Robot Battery — less downtime, more uptime DPS.
  3. Robot Luck — better podium outcomes with Index Luck.
  4. Roll Spots — more concurrent roll options (stronger mid game).
  5. Vault Gold Value — powerful but pricey early; delay it.

Individual robots also take Cash upgrades that raise personal DPS. Stack board Damage with carry-unit upgrades before spreading Cash thin across fillers.

Mutations

Mutations are multipliers on a robot’s DPS. They can appear on rolled variants as luck rises, and you can force them with Mutation Cores bought for Gems. Always core your strongest active tank first. A mutated mid-rarity unit often out-earns a clean higher rarity—treat the tier list as effective-DPS guidance, not a pure rarity chart.

Fusion

After purchasing access to the second island, fuse four robots of the same type into a stronger version. Fusion cleans duplicate clutter and creates permanent power spikes. You cannot fuse robots that were already created through fusion. Bank duplicates of valuable types; do not casually fuse away progress you still need for board coverage.

Islands, vaults, and progression gates

Early islands teach the smash-smelt-upgrade loop. Later islands unlock systems like fusion and harder vault targets with better Gold and Gem potential. Stronger vaults are both a gear check and a reward ladder—if clears stall, return to Damage / Battery and replace weak Commons using the tier list.

Strategy snapshot

Early game: smash, smelt, Damage, Battery, fill slots with anything that clears. Mid game: Index Luck breakpoints, Robot Luck, mutated buys, second island fusion. Late game: chase Mythic / mutated carries, finish the 76-robot Index for 62.5% luck, and spend Gems only on cores that multiply your true carry.

Destroy a Vault rewards disciplined Cash routing more than lucky one-offs. Use this wiki page as the table of contents, then jump into the hubs above whenever a system needs a full guide. Keep rolling, keep smelting, and keep the vault timers falling.
